Quality Guitars, Set Up with Care
Looking for a guitar that plays beautifully straight out of the box? At Freya Guitars, we believe every musician deserves a quality instrument that offers excellent value, reliable performance and great playability.
Based in Firies, near Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland, Freya Guitars was established by Robert and Anne with a simple goal: to make quality guitars accessible to beginners, students and experienced musicians alike.
We know that poor action, inaccurate intonation and old strings can spoil the experience of playing a new guitar. That’s why every Freya guitar receives careful attention before it reaches you.
Every Freya Guitar Is Set Up with Care
Each Freya guitar receives a thorough setup, including:
- Fresh, quality strings.
- Action adjustment for comfortable playability.
- Intonation adjustment for accurate tuning across the fretboard.
- Fret polishing for a smooth feel.
- Setup to your preferences, where appropriate, or to a suitable industry-standard specification.
Adjustments are available free of charge to the original purchaser of a Freya guitar, subject to our applicable service terms. Our aim is to help you get the best possible experience from your instrument.
Experience, Knowledge and a Passion for Music
Robert and Anne bring more than 50 years of combined experience in the music industry to Freya Guitars. Robert is an experienced guitar repairman who understands how much difference good construction, reliable components and a proper setup can make.
That practical experience helped shape the Freya guitar range. Our focus is on offering instruments with quality materials, dependable components and attractive finishes at prices that represent genuine value for money.
Robert also plays Freya guitars at gigs, putting the instruments through their paces in real playing situations. We believe in the guitars we offer and want our customers to feel confident choosing one for practice, performance or enjoying music at home.
