A Thumb Rest is the easiest way to give your bass that vintage look. Thi is easy to install and comes complete with the two screws needed to attach it.

These are found on all vintage Fender basses – on pre-1977 basses they were on the bottom, and on post-1977 basses they were on the top part of the body, finally being discontinued in the early 1980’s. Also found on older Gibson basses and various brands.

Even though this is very easy to install at home, we always suggest having a suitable qualified person install this for you.
