How’s this for service from www.graphtech.com?

Recently we ordered some Graph Tech Ghost Strat-style saddles for a Line 6 Variax 500 we had in for repair (the original LR Baggs ones are no longer available). We ordered this from the USA and there was a large price difference (normally we would just get what we need from the Irish or European suppliers, but in this case the term “rip-off Ireland” applied). Anyway, got these all fitted up, soldered in, but one saddle was DOA. We contacted the seller, who told us that we should contact the manufacturer (different laws…..), who’s based in the Greater Vancouver area. This we did, and immediately got this reply from Graph Tech’s president:

“Thanks for contacting Graph Tech Guitar Labs. Our mission is to improve your playing experience.
One of our technical engineers will be contacting you shortly to answer any questions you may have about our products.
Thanks again for contacting Graph Tech and we look forward to talking to you.
Best regards
Dave Dunwoodie
President”

Followed by:
” I have created a warranty order for a replacement set (to ensure all saddles are a proper output match).
Please let me know when the package arrives and if there is any other way I can be of assistance to you
Best regards

Remember now, we had only asked for one replacement saddle, and the guys at Graph Tech are sending us a whole replacement SET.
Not only did they send them – they sent them by DHL Couriers, not regular or slow post. They’re here.
Kudos to Gray and Dave for the great service. Nice to see customer service of this calibre, and we at Freya Guitars would like to say a big THANK YOU for this.
