We get a lot of Strats (& similar) in here for setups. Yes, it can be a little involved, but having a qualified person do it for you can be more cost & time effective in the long run (rather than suffering the frustration of doing it yourself & having to bring it to a shop in the end anyway). Still, if you want to have a go at it yourself this article will explain how (careful with that truss rod though), or even if you don’t intend to do it yourself it will explain what’s involved and justify the shop’s charge.
